The learning never stops! This Volleyball program is a great balance between skill development and game play, and is the perfect setting to meet other volleyball enthusiasts.

In this 2 hour class, the first half will focus on skill development. In the second half, you will have the opportunity to put your skills into practice through game play.

** The Recreational program is geared towards players with under 1-2 years of experience or who want a brush-up in the fundamental basics of volleyball. Emphasis will be placed on serving, passing/digging, setting, blocking and attacking.

**The Intermediate program is geared towards players who already demonstrate the basic fundamentals, and can play games with rallies, usually accomplishing 3 passes with their team on the attack. This program is for players want to enhance their skill level to become a more proficient and competitive player. Emphasis will be placed on serving, passing/digging, setting, blocking and attacking.

Join us in our Badminton LEAGUE this season! Whether you're Recreational or Intermediate, there is a skill level for everyone.

How it works: Teams and Individual players will register in an "Open" skill division and play in a practice ladder in week one. Teams and Individual players will then be placed into an appropriate skill division based on the ladder format results from week 1 to ensure the best possible experience! First official league games will commence in week two!

Each player will play a singles match against both players of the opposing team (first to 11). The fifth game will be a doubles match (first to 11, best 2 out of 3 sets).

**NEW 7-WEEK PROGRAM**

The learning never stops! This Volleyball program is a great balance between skill development and game play, and is the perfect setting to meet other volleyball enthusiasts.

In this 2 hour class, the first half will focus on skill development. In the second half, you will have the opportunity to put your skills into practice through game play.

** The Recreational program is geared towards players with under 1-2 years of experience or who want a brush-up in the fundamental basics of volleyball. Emphasis will be placed on serving, passing/digging, setting, blocking and attacking.

**The Intermediate program is geared towards players who already demonstrate the basic fundamentals, and can play games with rallies, usually accomplishing 3 passes with their team on the attack. This program is for players want to enhance their skill level to become a more proficient and competitive player. Play Court Volleyball 6's this season in Nepean at Redeemer Christian High School!

This intermediate league is mixed gender and teams are required to have a minimum of 2 men and 2 women on the court at all times.

You can register three ways with OSSC - As an individual, as an individual with friends, or as a team! Don't miss out as these leagues will sell out fast!

🏐EQUIPMENT REQUIRED: This league requires teams to bring a volleyball. Equipment rentals are not provided by SSC.

📅# OF GAMES: 11 games (9 regular season games + 2 playoff games)

🕖GAME TIMES: Start times are allocated between 6:00pm and 10:00pm. OSSC makes every effort to ensure teams receive a mix of game times and locations (where applicable). However, many factors including number of registrations, permit cancellations and facility changes can impact both location availability and timeslots.

BYE DATES: Thursday, March 19th (March Break)

SCHEDULE: Schedules will be posted online 2 days before your league is set to start.

TEAM ROSTERS: Team Rosters for players who registered individually will be posted for most sports on Thursday, January 8th. Captains who registered as a full team, must have rosters updated (all players added to your roster) prior to your first game.
