Join us our Badminton LEAGUE this season! Whether you're Recreational or Advanced, there is a skill level for everyone.
How it works: Teams and Individual players will register in an "Open" skill division and play in a practice ladder in week one. Teams and Individual players will then be placed into an appropriate skill division based on the ladder format results from week 1 to ensure the best possible experience! First official league games will commence in week two!
Each player will play a singles match against both players of the opposing team (first to 11). The fifth game will be a doubles match (first to 11, best 2 out of 3 sets).
Example of Team A vs Team B:
A1 vs B1 (first to 11)
A2 vs B2 (first to 11)
A2 vs B1 (first to 11)
A1 vs B2 (first to 11)
A1/A2 vs A1/B2 (first to 11, best 2 out of 3)

WINTER 2024 ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
# OF GAMES: 14 games (1 Ladder Week + 13 Seasonal Weeks)
GAME TIMES: Start times are allocated between 6:15pm and 8:45pm. OSSC makes every effort to ensure teams receive a mix of game times and locations (where applicable). However, many factors including number of registrations, permit cancellations and facility changes can impact both location availability and timeslots.
BYE DATES: Tuesday, March 12th (March Break)
SCHEDULE: Schedules will be posted online 2 days before your league is set to start.
TEAM ROSTERS: Team Rosters for players who registered individually will be posted for most sports on Tuesday, January 9th. Captains who registered as a full team, must have rosters updated (all players added to your roster) prior to your first game.
