Join us for a brand new Badminton LEAGUE this Fall! Whether you're Recreational or Advanced, there is a skill level for everyone.
How it works: Teams and Individual players will register in an "Open" skill division and play in a practice ladder in week one. Teams and Individual players will then be placed into an appropriate skill division based on the ladder format results from week 1 to ensure the best possible experience! First official league games will commence in week two!
Each player will play a singles match against both players of the opposing team (first to 11). The fifth game will be a doubles match (first to 11, best 2 out of 3 sets).
Example of Team A vs Team B:
A1 vs B1 (first to 11)
A2 vs B2 (first to 11)
A2 vs B1 (first to 11)
A1 vs B2 (first to 11)
A1/A2 vs A1/B2 (first to 11, best 2 out of 3)
Register as a team of two, or register as an individual and we will place you on a team!
FALL 2022 ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
# OF GAMES: 14 games (12 regular season games + 2 playoff games)
GAME TIMES: Start times rotate between 7pm and 8:30pm. OSSC makes every effort to ensure teams receive a mix of game times and locations (where applicable).
BYE DATES: There are no bye dates.
ROSTER & SCHEDULE: Schedules and Individual Team Rosters will be posted online two days before your league is set to start.
FRIEND REQUESTS: If you have friends who want to play, be sure to invite them to join you. Jump into your player account page on our website and use the “Invite your Friends” option to either send a direct email inviting them to play with you, or copy and paste your unique sign-up link to social media and have them click through to register.
