Summer 2023 Pickleball League @ CVCC - Wednesday - Session 2

Join us at City View Curling Club on Wednesday nights for our new Pickleball league!

How it works: Teams and Individual players will register in an "Open" skill division and play in a practice ladder in week one. Teams and Individual players will then be placed into an appropriate skill division based on the ladder format results from week 1 to ensure the best possible experience! First official league games will commence in week two!

Teams will play against two opponents each night (2 x 45 minute matches). Against both opponents, you will play 3 x sets to 11 (2-point margin win, hard cap of 15). Scores are recorded as set wins and losses.

Example: Match 1: Team A wins 2 sets to 1 against Team B. Match 2: Team A wins 1 set to 2 against Team C.

6:00pm - 6:15pm Warm Up and Stretch
6:15pm - 7:00pm Match 1
7:00pm - 7:45pm Match 2
7:45pm - 8:00pm Mixer (Play fun game to 11 points that doesn't count towards your standings. Swap partners with your opponent and have fun)

Register as a team of two, or register as an individual and we will place you on a team! All you need to do is bring your own paddle and we will provide the pickleballs.

SUMMER 2023 ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

# OF GAMES: 7 weeks (1 practice ladder week + 4 regular season + 2 playoffs).

PLAYING TIME: Start at 6:00pm and play for 2 hours (1 x 15 minute warm up + 2 x 45 minute matches + 1 x 15 minute mixer)

BYE DATES: No bye dates.

SCHEDULE: Schedules will be posted online 2 days before your league is set to start.

TEAM ROSTERS: Team Rosters for players who registered individually will be posted on 2 days before your league is set to start. Captains who registered as a full team, must have rosters updated (all players added to your roster) prior to your first game.
